Fall Color in the Kitchen :)

Just had to post a photo of a bowl of fall offerings on my kitchen island. Pomegranates, artichokes, persimmons, lemons and limes. Just look at all the vivid colors – isn’t nature beautiful??!! I love to eat seasonally – it’s the best way to get the freshest and most nutritious produce. Not to mention, all the colorful fruits and veggies  make the best table centerpiece! 🙂

Did you know that the more bright color in a fruit or vegetable, the more nutrition and vitamins it offers? Make this the season you go to the produce section at your grocery store and pick up a colorful fruit or veggie that you have never tried before. You never know, you just might find a new favorite! For instance, if you have never tried beets, or you think you don’t like them – check out my beet salad recipe – it’s easy and I have yet to find a person who did not like it!!
